BECOME AN
ACCREDITED INVESTOR

At ADIT Ventures, we require all investors to become accredited before they can invest in our fund. Why? Private investments are administered differently than public stocks that become available after a company's IPO, so our funds adhere to stricter eligibility criteria required by federal security law.

However, investor accreditation is more than just a legal requirement. Becoming accredited helps you as well. Accredited investors have access to different kinds of investments, like hedge funds, private equity deals, and angel investments. It also helps you understand what kind of investments are right for your financial circumstances. In short, it can be an important new step in your investment journey.

One of ADIT Venture's primary goals is to help investors grow their knowledge and become more financially sophisticated. That's why we've answered some of the most common questions about our investor accreditation process and provided you with a gateway to accreditation.

What is an accredited investor?

An accredited investor is one who meets the financial requirements for private investment funds. When you initiate the investor accreditation process for our AGE-II fund, we will carefully evaluate your financial status to ensure that our investments are a good fit for you.

The primary criteria we use to determine accreditation are your annual income and net worth. More specifically, we follow the federal government's guidelines and look for investors with:

  • An annual income of $200,000 or more for the past two years, or joint income of $300,000 if you are married
  • A net worth of at least $1 million, either individually or jointly with a spouse

We may weigh other factors to determine your eligibility, but these are the most important requirements.

HOW DO I BECOME ACCREDITED?

The process of becoming accredited may sound complex, but it's actually a lot less complicated than it seems. All you have to do is submit some documentation to us, like past W-2 forms, tax statements, credit reports, and other financial documents.

Our experts do the rest. We'll work with you to help you understand your path to accreditation — and make sure you have what you need to start investing in our exclusive investment portfolio.
